1. Who we are

VibeScreen is operated by Ijahson Maginley, an individual sole trader ("VibeScreen", "we", "our", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data you provide to us when you create an account or use the service.

2. What we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials, authentication identifiers (e.g. via Google sign-in).
• Content you upload — logos, images, and audio you choose to add to the visualizer.
• Subscription data — which plan you're on, status, and billing period (we do not store card details — those are handled by Paddle).
• Usage and telemetry — pages visited, features used, error logs, performance metrics.
• Device and connection data — browser type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address.
• Support communications — messages you send to us and our responses.

3. Why we use it

• To create and manage your account (legal basis: contract performance).
• To provide, maintain, and improve the service (legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests).
• To process subscriptions and unlock paid features (legal basis: contract performance).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation).
• To respond to support requests (legal basis: legitimate interests).
• To send service-related communications, and — only with your consent — occasional product updates (legal basis: consent for marketing).

4. Who we share it with

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, and support tooling providers acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where reasonably necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. Account and subscription data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your data;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• request a portable copy of your data;
• withdraw consent where we rely on it;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We'll respond to verified requests within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of a breach affecting you, we'll notify you in line with applicable law.
